Welcome to Umami Gastronomic Beers and thank you for being here!
My name is Roy van Ginkel and I would like to invite you on a digital beer journey where you are able to try some different types of beers; aging beers that I personally designed for the taste of any beer fanatic.
A little bit more about myself, I am a former chef that is currently working with students from Hotelschool The Hague in Amsterdam, guiding and training them for a purposeful future. Aside from my daily job at Hotelschool, I enjoy playing with flavors that the seasons offer and incorporate this in to a playful beverage; beer.
Now a question, do you remember when you tasted something for the first time? You can feel your brain operating on high-current, recording all the new aroma elements, and determining where to put it in your cognitive library. You cannot do anything else than to focus on the taste and be in that moment. The magic instant where you experience a moment of discovery and novelty. I simply love exploring new flavours and share them with others.
